CFD-FASTRAN

The software uses the latest numerical and physical models, as well as object-oriented Graphical User Interfaces, for ease-of-use and ease-of-learning.

All software works on both UNIX and Windows NT/95 systems (i.e. PCs, Workstations, and Mainframe computers).

ABOUT 3G SERVICE ...

Commercial products include:

  • CFD-ACE+ is our flagship software product. It consists of: CFD-GEOM (for geometry and grid generation), CFD-ACE (pressure-based, finite-volume flow solver for multiblock structured and unstructured hybrid grids) and CFD-VIEW (for post processing, graphics, and animation). It also has several add-on modules, including PLASMA, FEMSTRESS, CHEMKIN, etc. CFD-ACE+ is used by over 300 organizations worldwide.
  • CFD-FASTRAN is a Density Based, Finite-Volume code, for high-speed flow solutions. It employs all major gridding techniques, including automated Chimera for multiple and moving body applications. It also has a coupled 6-DOF and prescribed motion models.
  • MDICE (Multi-Disciplinary Computing Environment) provides a system in which several engineering analysis programs run concurrently, to perform a Multi-Disciplinary analysis.

CFDRC also has unique capability (due to active participation in R&D) for rapid adaptation and customization of software for various unique applications. Many specific-purpose codes have been successfully developed and are in extensive use.
